Rede de Ambientes Montessori Portugal (RAMP)
Um dos primeiros objetivos que estabelecemos com a AMI foi iniciar uma Rede de Escolas (ou Ambientes) Montessori.
Em 2022 lançámos a iniciativa de conectar as várias escolas em Portugal, com o objetivo de fortalecer a comunicação e interação entre diferentes instituições que partilham o mesmo objetivo: disseminar a pedagogia Montessori de forma autêntica e fazer chegar esta pedagogia científica a tantas crianças quanto possível.
Esta é a base para podermos também dar resposta à crescente comunidade Montessori em Portugal (e noutros países de língua Portuguesa). É também um passo essencial para coordenar a formação de Guias e Assistentes, permitir observação em diferentes ambientes (tanto de profissionais como de famílias) e construir uma visão conjunta e representativa da nossa comunidade educativa.
RAMP: Ambientes com Guias AMI em Portugal
O número de Ambientes Montessori tem vindo a crescer em Portugal, uma tendência que queremos continuar a apoiar, estando a formação na base de qualquer projeto e na preparação de qualquer adulto.
As escolas listadas abaixo decidiram juntar-se à nossa rede RAMP e partilham os princípios e standards da AMI, tendo Ambientes Montessori liderados por Guias Montessori com certificação international pela AMI (um dos critérios para integrar a RAMP):

“Lisbon Montessori School is a co-educational, not-for-profit, authentic Montessori learning organisation. LMS offers Montessori education to children ages 3-12 and applies the AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) universal Montessori curriculum. This curriculum is obtained by completing a rigorous AMI teacher training diploma course, and each of our lead teachers conducts their practice based on and as directed by the AMI. Our curriculum is complemented by elements of Portuguese geography and history based on our location.”
Torres Vedras: Montessori HUMANS (Bordinheira)

“HUMANS: Montessori Education is a bilingual 3-6 Children’s House in the Oeste region (near Torres Vedras). The project was born from a local partnership with the municipality of Torres Vedras, and involved the reactivation and requalification of an old school in a small town (Bordinheira), located about 10min from the main city (Torres Vedras) and 10min from the silver coast (Santa Cruz). Our 3-6 Montessori Children’s House follows AMI standards, is composed of a team of AMI-Trained Guides and Assistants, and has attracted a number of diverse families from a variety of backgrounds and nationalities. Humans is closely connected with the AMI Training Centre in Portugal (IEMMP) since its genesis, and stands out as a small-scale project with high social impact for the region.

“Kairos Montessori School provides education programs to children aged 3 to 18. Kairos is a Cambridge International School, as well as a catholic school, aiming to enable each child to develop as a well-integrated human being: intellectually, socially, spiritually, physically and emotionally. Kairos is run as a non-profit organisation, and is situated in Cascais, close to the sea, with farm land for the benefit of the students.”
